Also... ich verstehe mich

Wo bin ich Zuhause?

Bei Geschwistern, Eltern, Großeltern?

Bei Familie, Freunden, Kollegen?

In der Heimat, auf der ganzen Welt?

Ist doch egal

Dort, wo ich verstanden werde

Ich will "verstanden" werden

Ich will meine Gefühle zeigen können

Ich will die Gefühle anderer sehen

Ich will nicht nur "akzeptiert" werden

Doch, ich kann auch akzeptiert werden

Ich will meine Meinung sagen können

Ich will die Meinung anderer hören

Ich will nicht nur "toleriert" werden

Andererseits, ich kann auch „nur“ toleriert werden

Ich will auch andere „nur“ tolerieren können

Ich bin schließlich in der ganzen Welt Zuhause

Soll das einer verstehen?

Well... I get my point

Where am I at home?

With siblings, parents, grandparents?

With family, friends, colleagues?

In my home town, in the whole world?

That's irrelevant

It's there, where I feel understood

I want to be "understood"

I want to show my feelings

I want to see other's feelings

I don't want to be just "accepted"

Though, I can also be accepted

I want to say my opinion

I want to hear other's opinion

I don't want to be just "tolerated"

But then, I can also be "just" tolerated

I would also like to "just" tolerate others

You know, I'm at home in the whole world

Does anyone get it?
